There will be festive sights and joyful sounds of Christmas shopping as the annual Merry Mistletoe Marketplace opens its doors this weekend. Avoid the mall madness and do some merry alternative holiday shopping at this traditional event. You’ll end up with truly unique gifts that you can’t find at the mall. This once a year holiday marketplace features row after row of boutique-like booths offering an extensive array of gifts and home decor. “Our shoppers are discriminating women and men who escape the crowded malls to seek out the unusual and clever items offered by our vendors who come from all parts of the country for this once a year event” says Sammie Gayle Dwyer, show director. She adds, “It’s a great Central Texas holiday tradition to entertain those out of town guests the day after Thanksgiving at the biggest Christmas Sami Show Marketplace of the year. Countless Central Texas families have told us that shopping at this event has become a family tradition they look forward to attending," Dwyer says. Early shopping begins at 9am Friday, November 29.
